Citizenship Applications

A Canadian permanent resident may be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship if he or she has resided in Canada 1,095 days in the past five years. The applicant must prove his English language skills, knowledge of Canada by taking the citizenship test and meet the other eligibility criteria laid down by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
